Well, according to this book I can indeed survive a zombie apocalypse but that's only one of the 50 endings to this "choose your own adventure" style book.

The story begins with an average guy stuck in a boring early Monday morning meeting. When all of a sudden all hell breaks loose and a zombie outbreak threatens to take over Manhattan. What will he do?

There's an ending for every type of person in this gory book. Are you the hero? Do you only look out for number one? Would you say: "screw it!" and give up? This book has it all. Even an ending for the hardcore gamer!

I've lived, died, even

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time and experience the 1920's as a teenage flapper? Step into the world that Jillian Larkin has created in VIXEN and for a short time you can do just that.

Chicago in the 1920s was the place to be for many different reasons - prohibition was in full swing, jazz had made it's way up the Mississippi river and mobsters were running the speakeasies. On the other side was Debutante society, with all the glitz, glamour and privilege.

Imagine yourself as Gloria, a proper young lady trying to find yourself before you are married off to someone that you think

Over the last several weeks, I have undertaken the horrifying task of attempting to catalog and rate all the books I currently own (thanks to a lovely site called Goodreads.com - check it out!), as well as beginning to tackle the BF's books.  The end result: we long ago passed the point where we had room for new books. They're stacked everywhere: on the stairs, on the floor, on top of other books...You get the picture.

The result after much intense debate and discussion, I now own a Kindle 2.

The essential details first:  the device itself is 8" x 5.3" x 0.36", with a 6" display

A friend tipped me off to a new webcomic called Luci Phurr's Imps ( www.luciphurrsimps.com ).

First off, lemme say, it's not one of those lame webcomics that you know is done by some lonely fan-boy living in his parents basement and is ONLY hilarious to him and his best friend (who lives in the basement next-door).

The setup is pretty simple:  a clerical error has resulted in an eight-year-old girl being sent three imps with which she is supposed to bring about the End of Days. Of course, because it's a mistake, she doesn't know the big picture and just sees three new friends who seem very

Tired of reading a book the "old fashioned" way? Bored of having to turn page after page? Too lazy to go to the bookstore, look for a book and then wait in line to pay? Then you need a nook. That's right, and for a limited time of...forever, you too can be the proud owner of one of these 7.7 inches tall, 4.9 inches wide & .5 inch thick eReaders!

Seriously though, I've only had my nook for a few days and all I can say is, "Wow." It's easy on the eyes because of the eInk technology that was designed to mimic the appearance of ink on paper and I love that the color touchscreen on the bottom

The visionary creator of the Academy Award-winning Pan's Labyrinth and a Hammett Award-winning author bring their imaginations to this bold, epic novel about a horrifying battle between man and vampire that threatens all humanity. It is the first installment in a thrilling trilogy and an extraordinary international publishing event.

The Strain
They have always been here. Vampires. In secret and in darkness. Waiting. Now their time has come.
In one week, Manhattan will be gone. In one month, the country.
In two months--the world.

A Boeing 777 arrives at JFK and is on its way across the tarmac,

DD: Who are you and what is your background? (where you're from, art school, job history, what you did in 3rd grade to get you sent home, etc. - Whatever interesting and silly stuff you'd like to include.)

KM: I'm Kevin Mellon, from Kansas City, Missouri. About as mid-Midwest as one can get. I've lived in and around KC for most of my 30 years. I went to college at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. It's an art college in Dover, New Jersey that specializes in comic book illustration. It's a 3 year school, and it's pretty intense. I got a lot out of it, and the thing I tell

I enjoyed both Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code. I devoured both in short order and pre-ordered the latest Robert Langdon book as soon as it was announced in April.

I hope that Mr. Brown spent the last five years or so gallivanting, throwing his millions around, and sleeping late. Because if he spent those years writing the piece of crap known as The Lost Symbol, he should hang up his laptop and retire from writing altogether.

I suspect that Dan Brown has a special app in his word processing program that pops up, Clipit-like, and says: "It looks like you're writing a Robert Langdon

Gears of War: Jacinto's Remnant picks up exactly where the Gears of War 2 game ends; Jacinto's been sunk by the lightmass bomb- err... lambent brumak more accurately. Cole, Hoffman and Anya are on one King Raven, Baird, Dom and Marcus are on another. They, along with the residents of Jacinto are evac'ing to the snowy safety of Port Farrel. Unfortunately, it's void of any human comforts, barely able to meet the most basic human needs. Gears have to keep the peace among the refugees as humanity tries to rebuild itself. Adding to the current story, Traviss flashes back to the days before the

The Time Traveler's Wife follows the story of Henery DeTamble, a librarian, and Clare Abshire, Henry's artist wife, as they learn to cope with his Chrono-Displacement disease.  Henry, who has been time-traveling since he was five, meets Clare for the first time when she is 20 and he is 28.  He has no idea who she is, but she has known him since she was 6-years-old.

What ensues is a rough and tumble love story that is at many times difficult to follow.  This isn't a book you can pick up and read for a couple of hours a week, this is a book that needs to be read almost every day due to its
