Too Faced’s Mirror Mirror - Are You the Fairest of them All?

Brand: Too Faced
Store: Mirror Mirror Lip Gloss
Store: Envy Me (Currant)
Price: $16.00
Official Website: Too Faced

Contrary to popular belief, I am actually a sucker for good makeup. Even I have been known to lose the hoodie and jeans and wear pretty things SOMETIMES. One of my favorite make up items is lip gloss. I have the need for exotic concotions lining my succulent lips, keeping them moist and ready for action.

:: crickets ::

Back to reality - Mmmm smelly lip gloss. I was recently given a tube of Too Faced's "Mirror Mirror" lip gloss in "Envy me". I'm not sure if that was given to me on purpose but there ain't nothing to envy, here.

This gloss was like an oil slick coating my lips. Unlike many cheap glosses that go on smoothly and stay that way for 2 minutes, this one actually stayed on for over 4 hours. I applied it at 7:00am and it started losing its lustre at a little after 11:00am. The smell is very fruity, although it did remind me somewhat of cough medicine. That's not a bad thing for me as I actually love cough medicine - I suppose that would mean it's cherry smelling?

It's said to be packed with Goji Berry extract, which is supposedly a "powerful antioxident". No idea if it's true but it's shiny! Shiny makes short-attention span persons, such as myself, very happy.

It ever so slightly stained my lips a really pretty purple/red that looked good even on my white-assed face. I admit it, I'm really happy with this gloss. It's so much better than the Hello Kitty crap I got last week. You get what you pay for, though, right?

Stay tuned as I attempt to apply eye-shadow from another Too Faced product, soon. Oh, the humanity!

Being a lip gloss junkie myself, I think I might end up trying this, even though I think the cost might make me have a minor heart attack. (The price of most of the cosmetics at Sephora are marked up at least by half the US retail price).

It'll be worth it though for a good quality tube of gloss that will last a while on the lips, as well as in the tube, 'cause I only use the good stuff when I'm going out.... which is rarely, lol.

I'd have to say I don't know much about that brand. I don't go into Sephora too much since there isn't one near me. I'm one of "those" people who tends to go to Ulta. So far I have liked their brand lip gloss. But this one doesn't sound too bad.

Good post. I love thick glossy lipgloss.

I am a JuicyTuber myself but now I now about 'Mirror Mirror'I might have to venture away from Lancome and into the unknown!

I'm nervous!

I love Too Faced lip gloss! I like the high-gloss, jellied lips look without the lacquered texture, so this is a really nice product. it's hard for me to drop $16 on a lip gloss, but you're right... it does last much longer than most. unfortunately, we don't have any retailer around here, so I have to order most brands and take a gamble at the color.

I can't wait to hear about your eyeshadow!
