so heres the game. who ever posts has to leave some sort of booby trap for the next pcx member to get caught in.

example:

post 1: leaves scattered bear trapsacross the forum post.
post 2: has been caught in a bear trap but left a cluster grenade for the next poster.
post 3: got blown up by the cluster grenade but left a chinese water tource device behind

etc etc

you can avoid the booty trap but the previous posts booby trap is still active, and you CANNOT set a booby trap yourself

example

post 1: leaves scattered bear trapsacross the forum post.

post 3: narrowly missed the cluster grenade and sneeked past, the cluster grenade is still active.

its all good hearted fun so no nasti-ness ( not like you would) so go ahead and kill a popchix member

So today while at work I saw a poster for a local comic con. I have never heard of there being one around here before so I was pretty excited. When I got back to my office I looked it up on the computer and was immediatly confused/saddened/angered because in the section where the show some of the main people that will be there it was a playboy model. While I am not a big comics geek was really excited for all of the geek culture and to hear from some of the geek celebs, but really? a playboy model? What does have to do with comics or geek culture as a whole?
It seems to me that there are SO many beautiful geeky ladies that they could have chosen to come, but instead they immediatly went to her.
I also know from looking at some of the vendor and booths and things that they are going to have there will be lots of geeky ladies there. I was actually suprised by how many women were listed.
All in all I am still considering going to it. It is cheap and it will be my first con. I also tend to shy away from crowds so I think a smaller con would be good for me to start with, I am just disappointed in the organizer for chosing this person be there I guess.

He makes this series called Dead Fantasy, it's awesome. He also does stuff with RoosterTeeth ^_^ Look up the episode of RvB he did with them that involves Tex in a mood lol. As well as a video called Haloid. Also the group doing the singing, Girls' Generation is awesome in my opinion. It's like Korean P. Cat Dolls or something, the song Gee has been stuck in my head for like a week now lol.

Greetings again, Ladies!

I just wanted to take a second to let you guys know about the other "Gamer Chic Friendly" site I've found. No- I am not here to hoard members and take traffic away from PopChix. In fact, I found this clan, AFTER I joined PC. <3 I just thought I'd share with everyone here, since
A)we only have a few ladies at WRG right now
and
b) its a friendly community clan that branches all games.

Finding another place with active and friendly people to play with? I think thats worthy of sharing! I've been at WRG for a little over a week now, and everyone has been incredibly respectful of me as a female. We even have our own rank on the site- "VIXEN". We get pink name tags and are recognized respectfully as such. I was the first ever Vixen [as it is a new rank on the site] and my name on the site is now WRG Vixen.
