AppleID keeps getting locked

Hey - I figure some other chix might be experiencing this as well. I use the same email for my Sony account that I use for my AppleID account. Anyway, since all the Sony hacking debacle my AppleID keeps getting locked. Fortunately I use different passwords so it hasn't been an issue yet but I changed my password again just to be safe.

Has anyone else been experiencing this? I know some of the hacker groups have been posting emails and passwords and telling people to use them on common sites in case people are using the same password there. I guess it's just a good reminder to change all your passwords and don't use the same one for all your stuff.

I don't know if this really goes here. But I have an Access class and I did really bad on the last project and I wanted to know if there is anyone who would be able and willing to help me? It is the 7th week and before then it was going great I was doing perfect that when down the drain last week.

Alright so I just got a new TV its a Samsung LED and it says supports 720p so I'm assuming that's the highest it can go? idk I hooked both my Xbox and Ps3 up to it using the component cables and on the PS3 played battlefield 3 which I was really disappointed with in terms of the quality I've played the battlefield 3 beta on my Xbox with my old TV which wasn't a flat screen using the composite cables and it looked pretty decent but on my PS3 it sucked and I couldn't understand why, I set the display on the PS3 to 720p and everything so i'd assume it should look good but it doesn't.

I'm thinking I need to get an HDMI cable and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should get since I'm kinda lost I don't want to spend 50 bux on a cable but I don't want to get a horrible one either So How much did any of you spend on yours if you have one and is there a noticeable difference in quality when your using it over the component cables? My Xbox looks better on the TV than the PS3 but I know the quality can be improved since I saw the HD channels on the TV. I'm not going to use my PS3 other than watching DVD's but I have Battlefield 3 for it and I'd like it to look a little nicer otherwise I wont play it, because I'm picky like that ;p

Connecting to XBL via VPN/Proxy

Hi,

after a night with little sleep I FINALLY managed to connect my Xbox to XBL via my Laptop and a VPN that masks my IP address as coming from the UK, thus allowing me to connect to the UK marketplace and buy/download content that is not available in Germany (as in the Gears 2 map packs).

OH JOY *jumpjump* :D

After 41% of the download were finished it didn't progress anymore. I first blamed my bf streaming NBA videos again - but even after he shut down his PC I wasn't able to get any progression. Instead, I got randomly dropped from and reconnected to XBL/marketplace, and even though my VPN monitor shows a constant downstream there's no progress. After 2h of several experiments with rebooting, reconnecting, resuming I was desperate enough to cancel and re-download the whole DLC, and now it's stuck at 1% (while I can still access the marketplace & XBL.

Does anyone have any idea what the reason for this could be? Did any UK users experience some problems with the marketplace/downloads a few hours ago?

I definitely had to leave for work now so I left it on, but I don't really have my hopes up that it'll be done when I get home.

BOOHOOO so close and yet so far ;_;

Edit: okay, update after one more evening of trying to fix it I solved all my problems, downloaded about 3 gigs of maps for different games and I'm happy happy happy :D

If anyone else ever needs to attempt this, the steps that did it for me were:
- cutting off the internet connection on all other PCs on the net except for my laptop (=gateway) and restarting the router
- then establishing the VPN/Proxy on my laptop, connecting to the internet with UK IP, making sure that THIS connection allows other users on the LAN to connect to the internet, setting manual DNS server and automatic IP
- then connecting the Xbox to the Laptop via ethernet cable, setting my laptop as gateway and the same manual DNS server

And last but not least I found a slider in the VPN tool which would drastically improve my bandwidth

Ps: if YOU read this and you're German as well (because most other countries don't have these bulls*** problems) and need help, let me know. I found a few pretty cool tutorials and think I made about every common mistake so I'd know about them too

Does anyone have a Windows Phone 7 phone?
I am curious to know some details on how the integration of Xbox Live functions with those phones. I am going to upgrade my phone soon and looks like Verizon will be getting WP7 in the summer. Should I wait?
From what I have read, the phone is able to link to your Xbox live account. I also read that there will be games on the phone that you can earn achievements on. This would be a killer feature for me - I like achievements! But are there apps?
Anyone have any experience with this?

It is finally time for me to get new smart phone (kick my POS Razor goodbye!!!) I get a great discount through work if I go with Verizon so I am sticking with them (so no iPhone) Does anyone have any suggestions of a cool smart phone? I was leaning toward the Droid 2.

Xbox slim big problem

Well, my new slim has been working fine for 3 months, including last night when my boyfriend played for a couple of hours, no issues at all. He goes in to play today and nothing! No response at all! The light on the power brick is amber when plugged in on its own, then red when connected to the xbox. It is obviously within the 1 year warranty however I have turned the house upside down and can't find my receipt. I tried to register my console in anticipation of possibly requesting a repair but the damn thing doesn't find my address!! Any ideas, tips, help would be appreciated. Just with Fable 3 preordered and a bloody afternoon booked off to play it on the 29th. Sooooo angry

ok i keep trying to change my avatar picture and my photo on my profile, the size is fine and says photo uploaded and such but it hasnt changed i even gave it a few minutes for the server to update itself and nothing has changed.

any ideas ladies....?

Do you have any favorite software or tips/tricks to share? I'm a complete n00b, but I've always wanted to try it. I've also had these alternate gaming-theme lyrics to Green Day songs in my head for awhile that just won't go away. LOL!!! (Gears, Halo, XBOX Live, PAX...) If nothing else, I just need to get them down in sound format vs. paper. Because every time we play Green Day: Rock Band now I want to belt some out. It's pretty funny! lol
