I'm currently reading the manga entitled: Kimi No Iru Machi or A Town Where You Live by Seo Kouji. It was recommended to me by a friend, so I thought I'd take a read. I'm only on chapter 2 though.
Summary
The plot primarily follows the two characters Haruto Kirishima and Yuzuki Eba. Yuzuki moved from Toyko to her father’s rural hometown in the Hiroshima Prefecture. Given that Haruto’s father is an acquaintance of Yuzuki’s father, the Kirishima’s take her into their home. Haruto is not keen of the situation because he believes that Yuzuki is a complete stranger and that a girl his same age, who is not a relative, living in the same home will cause complications for him. The misunderstanding he wants to avoid the most is that they are a couple because he already likes his classmate, Nanami Kanzaki. The problem is that Yuzuki has romantic feelings for Haruto and is not timid in pursuing a relationship. A Town Where You Live plot principally makes use of dramatic structure to facilitate character development. The story takes a realistic tone of the lives of high school freshman. The story’s setting is based on the author's hometown.
I haven't tried manga because I *know* I will be addicted to it. I love anime (Samurai Champloo/DeathNote/Samura 7). A friend told me about a free manga site she goes to...I think it's http://www.onemanga.com
I mostly use one manga. I use a site called Bleach Exile too...they have alsorts of great manga to choose from and update it everytime new chapters come out.
I have quite a few comics. When I was a kid I used to collect the sonic comics but now and then I occasionly buy a comic.
I have League of extrodinary Gentlemen (1), V for vendetta, Firefly, Star wars.
Honestly comics I am not a huge fan. I read X-men, Deadpool and some smaller ones (walking dead). I will keep up with what's what (like knowing the basics of all comic people) and read a few if they are Marvel.... Few others.... Comics is just not my biggest thing though I like knowing a bit about them.
Manga I read few, anime I used to watch a lot and am trying to get back into it.
Btw if you like zombies read walking dead=kick ass
I have just recently read The Walking Dead compendium and volumes 9-11, love this graphic novel...So good, even though it is in black and white. It is about what would happen to people if zombies ruled the world. I like it because it is the long term story of a group of survivors and the price they pay for surviving...lost humanity.
I also love the Preacher series and Y the last man.
I like the more serious comics without super heroes.
I know this is an old post but I love Batgirl, Gotham City Sirens, Birds of Prey, Cinderella. In Sept. They're starting the dc comics over with issue 1. I'm looking forward to the new one Suicide Squad with Harley Quinn. I loved Stephanie Brown as Batgirl but since Barbara Gordon is taking back the suit I may not read that one.

oh i have always wanted to check out Cinderella. Is it worth buying the trades? I love fables.
Cinderella is a really good one. She was always my favorite character. I haven't read any of the other fable comics but I do love the fable graphic novels.
