It is once again time for the San Diego Comic Con! The first full conference was in 1970 and only had 300 people, last year the conference had attendance of 126,000 people! It is now the second largest conference in the world! Very exciting!

This year it runs from July 22-25.

So feel free if you want to post any fun info or announcements or other cool stuff on the conference here!

I already know there are some rumored announcements for some up coming Capcom games. Capcom vs. Namco is a Capcom produced fighter, featuring Capcom and Namco (Soul Calibur, Tekken) characters and using the Street Fighter IV game engine. Namco vs Capcom is a Namco produced fighter, featuring Namco and Capcom characters and using the Tekken 6 game engine.

Don't forget the X20 experience on Gears of War 2 while the conference is gong on!!

Im so excited for this years comic con! I will be clued to comic vine website for all the news :D Hopefully one day i will have enough money to go to America so i can go to comic con...looks like so much fun

I only went to comic con once in 2006 and it was a blast! I keep forgetting to buy tickets every year since then and they are always sold out by the time I remember to buy one!

I'd love to go to comic con or E3, it's just so expensive and far for me to go... /cry

I was lucky enough to go on opening day and although it was insanely busy, it was so much fun. I got to demo Dead Rising 2 (which was so much fun) and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I've been trying to get 4 day passes for 2 years now and they sell out so quickly. I would definitely suggest going if you can snag tickets and I believe in 2012 the contract with the SD convention center is up so LA and I think Santa Ana (correct me if I'm wrong) are trying to get bids on it.
