I used to play SC a lot back in the day. I wasn't very good but I still enjoyed it. I was wondering if anyone else was going to purchase SC2. Also I'm excited because it comes out on my b-day My reaction to that was "oh neat!" Needless to say, I know what I'm doing on my bday. Ready to roll out!

I used to play multiplayer back in the day...ten years ago... >.> I don't know if I will play with randomly matched people or not. It depends how well their matching system works. If I get owned by those people that still play SC tournaments, I might get discouraged!

The matching system is pretty good. You have 5 placement matches (in 1v1, 2v2 , 3v3 etc). After those 5 placements matches you get put into a league. Bronze, Silver, and Platinum are the ones I am familiar with.

I hang around in the bronze league alot because I happen to suck haha.

I'm picking it up for my husband and I have friends at work who have been loving the beta and are getting it at midnight release tonight.

Picked it up last night and worth missing out on some sleep It will be a long day at work :(
