There is no greater pain then having your favorite TV show cancelled (okay so maybe an exaggeration, but heartbreaking nonetheless). I nearly paint-balled the TV execs when My So Called Life got cancelled. That show was awesome. I remember even dying my hair that fiery cherry / magenta red that Claire Danes had during that time.
More recently some shows that I really grew to love like Surface, Sarah Connor Chronicles (say that 5 times fast...I dare ya!), Jericho and a few others were so cruelly yanked from me.
Some TV bigwigs are listening occasionally, and responded to some of the pressure from fans nad bring back favorites like Friday Night Lights, Family Guy etc, so lets hope some of my favorite shows return from the chopping block.
I want Arrested Development back!!!! That show is fantastic. We re-watch it all the time. I think they are doing a movie, but I'm not excited about that. It seems silly to me to make a movie out of a TV show. And I was really sad when Pushing Daisies was canceled. That was a brilliant show.
They are bringing back Futurama! That makes me happy.
I really enjoyed Kings - it got horrible advertising support and was then canceled due to poor ratings. Gee, wonder why.
I'd also like to see them continue with The Philanthropist - it was only built as an 8-part miniseries, but I really enjoyed the show, and think it should continue.
I also miss Freaks & Geeks and News Radio. I uderstand that with the death of Phil Hartman the series kinda just ended, but I loved that show. It always made me laugh
Dark Angel too...I really like Michael Weatherly. He's great on NCIS, he really makes the show.
I didn't know this series excisted until a friend showed me the series and then I brought it myself. Unfortunately they cancelled the series because an actor died. :(
Has anyone seen this series called: Kindred the Embraced ? Apparently it is based on the RPG Vampire the masquerade.
Invasion...i hated how they ended it then stopped making the show because of poor ratings. I wanted to see how everything ended =(
i remember that show! the way they ended it annoyed me too.
hmm, i can't really think of any. i liked the oc and friends a lot, but i think it's better that they were cancelled. some shows are around too long and start to go crappy..
I have to add Fawlty Towers, they're showing re-runs and John Cleese is just hilarious. I also was a huge fan of Keeping up appearances. I'd hate to have a neighbor like Hyacinth. lol.
