I would like to decide that as a group. Once we get more interest we can choose together or pick a genre and have someone different pick a book each month.

And I'll also add A Brush of Darkness by Allison Pang. It's been recommended a few times so I read the Kindle sample this weekend. Really liked it. But then, I've been in a serious Urban Fantasy phase for the past year. Oh!
