Since being on here, and doing the Halo 3 weapons training, I have been playing xbox a bit more (and on forums). I feel kind of bad because I feel like I am leaving my fiance out. I don't know of any groups that he could that would compare to this one. In games we usually play together and just for fun. He isn't competitive often (usually when people are boasting or being rude to us). I was wondering if maybe there were a guys group you all might know about? Or if we could start a couples group or playnight so that he can get in on the action?

My hubby doesnt play at all. Depending on his age, maybe you can do a google search for certain aged players. Or ask other chix's that you play if their spouses are layed back also.
When the Chix are playing we're loud and annoying, oh wait that's just me that's loud and annoying uh ok yeah & IceTkiTTy, we're the loud annoying ones, but its all in good fun. don't ever take me seriously, i'm overly aggressive when i play (or drive). if he doesn't mind playing w/a bunch of crazy chix's he's more than welcome, just tell him to turn down the voice volume so he doesn't have to hear our big a** mouths.....lmao

LOL! I don't think he minds. The last couple weapons trainings he has been able to hear IceTKitty and a couple of the others, and he laughs about it. I am kind of the same way sometimes, so he should be used to it.

My boyfriend doesn't like the xbox, so if he's over visiting and I was already playing a game he'll just watch raspberry He's more a ps3 pc-gamer fanboy.

My husband is the one who got me into XBOX several years ago. smile I also 'met' several of his cowokers by playing online with them. Hee. Tim & I usually play co-op when we play together since we get too competitive otherwise. lol Some of my online co-op faves are Borderlands, Gears of War Horde mode, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 campaigns and Rock Band. But I'm not sure if anyone here plays RB.

If our significant others are interested, what about doing a co-ed co-op night? Could be some good social play without pressure.

My hubby does play although he does have times where he won't touch a game for months. We have started playing Borderlands some and I am trying to get him to play L4D games with me. We will be getting another Xbox again soon too since he finally got back into gaming right after we traded in our old arcade one. Split screen gives me a headache but it can be fun.

We have rockband, but don't really play it much unless we have friends to play with so we could probably get into that. I would defntly be up for a co-ed co-op night!

I can only really do horizontal splitscreen. Vertical is just a migraine waiting to happen. Ugh. Like Borderlands. I love that game, but thank goodness Hubs and I each have our own XBOX or we could never co-op. Of course that meant we also had to buy two copies of the game. It's a conspiracy, I tell you. LOL

I'm trying to put together a PopChiX Calendar via GoogleCal to use until we get one here so maybe we can start scheduling some activities like this.

Hubs & I have a long-standing date to game with our long-time friends on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, so he and I won't be available on Thursdays. I'm thinking of skipping out of Fridays in order to jump into Left4Dead Fridays (on the calendar now). iCeTKiTtY runs ChiX Halo 3 Weapons training Saturday nights and GamerchiX ladies night is on Wednesdays so members may be doing those already. Hmmm that leaves us Mondays or Tuesdays, unless we want to have more than one thing scheduled on a day. Are those do-able? If everyone else is better with Thursdays, of course that's fine!

My hubby started my Xbox addiction. When his box went down and I was on a trip he bribed me to get another one. He gave me his repaired box. LOL Now I sold that one, upgraded his and stole the arcade. What a hoot, never thought it would come to that. We do a lot of Co-Op and on our own. I would love a Co-Ed/Op night, wonder if he would? LOL though most likely he would because he loves to game.

And to the point of conspiracy to buy two copies!! YES!! What am I supposed to do SHARE Fable III????? Not going to happen. But then if I let in one game that way, uh oh, I feel like I am opening the door to more. (Reach, Gears.... )

Ugh what is a girl to do.

I am totally in the same spot, only I don't yet have my own. I was one saying not to get a second one, but I really want it!
