Hey ladies I am a huge horror fan and especially love anything with zombies, so I thought this would be a great place for anything zombie related.
Favorite zombie books, comics, games, shows, foods (brains?)...anything of the like that you all know of.
Shine a light on some of your favorite zombie things...
I am always looking to buy zombie stuff.
My two favorite zombie movies currently are Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. Both were very, very funny since I'm a Left4Dead fan. There is a website devoted to Zombieland Rules. AND a t-shirt. I really think I need the t-shirt. Shaun of the Dead helped me realize the importance of a Zombie Apocalypse Plan. lol
lol this reminds me, when I worked at Sam's Club, in the managers office, Coach Paul added to the evac procedures a Zombie Apocalypse. Apparently we were to SOMEHOW (I dont think there's a ladder in the store to get up there) make it to the roof while killing off zombie customers and leaving innocent customers to push into the way of the oncoming zombies to save ourselves.

Shaun of the Dead is genius. Especially if you watched Spaced a few years ago, it is basically that sitcom with some zombies and a cracking soundtrack. "don't stop me now..." that's my favourite bit
My favorite zombie movie is Zombi 2! I haven't made it through World War Z yet, but I read The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Dead Tossed Waves from a teen zombie trilogy. They aren't humorous books though. D:

Oh yeah - I found Spaced a few years ago on BBC America and was so upset to find it only had two seasons :-( Brilliant show! I adore Simon Pegg.
And yes, Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead here too. I usually don't like "funny" horror, but funny and zombies just seem to go together now!
I haven't seen 28 Days Later. I've 28 Weeks Later though, and I liked that. I did not like the (2004) Dawn of the Dead though. I remember fast forwarding just to see how it ended lol.
28 Days later is a fantastic movie...I would say it is better than the 28 weeks later sequel...better director and mood...only movie to ever really freak me out...I don't recommend watching that movie alone at 12pm in the dark.
No need to feel weird about the things you like chabelis - that is one of the things you learn as you get old...you like what you like. 28 days later is a good film and it also happens to have blood thirsty savages in it.
Thanks Maribel, if someone says to me that something I like is awful, then I tend to get embarrassed about liking it.. which is really silly. My mum said she hated 28 days later so that's where that comes from.
I know I shouldn't feel that way, not everyone is the same after all..
LoL, that is a fun cake! I've actually seen a lot of photos of people dressed as bride or groom zombies for their wedding. And you don't need any law to have a commiment ceremony
Zombieland is great! Jen and I bought our copy for Valentine's Day ^_^ Also, Maribel, I recommend ThinkGeek.com for all of your zombie needs. Toys? Check. Books? Check. Clothing? Check. It's WONDERFUL!!! Here is a link (I put "zombie" in the search bar!) http://www.thinkgeek.com/brain/whereisit.cgi?t=zombie&x=0&y=0
