Jen just showed this to me and I can't even say how excited I am!!! Oh wait, I can... SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! I grew up with Donkey Kong Country 2 and I was in love. I played mostly on weekend mornings, because gaming was a family thing in my house and so me, my dad and my brother would often play. I would be so happy every time I beat a level in DKC2, I would dance around when Dixie did her thang. I loved the graphics, the story, the characters, the hidden tokens and bananas.

I just can't believe they're bringing back and revamping one of my favorite game series for the 2000s. And you can be sure Jen and I will be getting it as soon as it comes out!

I loved Donkey Kong Country! The only problem is I don't have a Wii. I will have to look around for a used one.

Is this game so good that I will dust off the Wii to play it? Do you gals think it is that good?

I definitely think so! Though I love my Wii anyway. I like being active, but I also really like being able to play original games!

Yeah it sounds fun, I'd like to try it out but I may wait til the price comes down a bit before I get it.

I'm three worlds into this game, and so far I love it! Nintendo needed to release this game on the wii a LONG time ago.

Well it is better than donkey kong 64 and of course that stupid bongo game they slapped the DK seal on, but I guess I'm just a loyalist to the original 3. I have to admit I'm not that far into the game, I like how they added some 3d aspects to the game but the controls just irritate me. I've tried with and without the nun chuck but stopping to shake the remote feels clunky and disrupts the fluidity of the game. I also hate stopping to blow clovers, I'm not lined up properly half the time or somehow I end up rolling off a cliff lol.

I am SO close to beating this game, I just need to sit down and beat it over the weekend! Has anyone else beaten it yet? I can't wait to finish it and then give my copy to my two lil nephews to try their hand at it!
