Baby shadow is doing perfectly, perfect height, weight and shes doing everything babies her age are ment to. Ive just been diagnosed with mild post natal depression. lucky me, another label to add to myself.

took Baby shadow to the pinic in the park actvity day at our local park, and we had a great time. Baby shadow and Mommy shadow went into a fire engine and had a look around and Baby shadow got held by a fire man. We had a picnic ( of course) and had a little dance with pom poms.
im also taking part in a sponsored buggy / toddle walk to raise money for the childrens centre.
Baby shadow is having one nap a day now, its hard to believe that just a year ago she was sleeping nearly all day, now shes awake for nearly the whole day. baby shadow is getting very assertive, and determind, a bonus in its own right but not good for mommies.
Baby shadow definatly has the hang of walking infact to mommy shadows horror baby shadow has started running. :O baby shadow still looks like a drunk walking home from a night out but it so comical
Baby shadow took her first outdoor walk today, Mommy shadow and Baby shadow walked to the shop to buy some butter and Joe the shop owner gave Baby shadow a free kinder chocolate snack bar. BONUS!!
Baby shadow is going around saying " i did it" and "you did it" its hilarious whan she shouts " you did it" and points to Daddy shadow.
sorry for the late updates, took Baby Shadow on holiday to the East coast. Baby shadow loved it, and loved the beach, Baby shadow brought half the beach home with her. Baby shadow ate plenty of sand, even off the spade. lol.
Baby shadow can now climb on the sofa by herself! mommy shadow not to happy. Baby shadow finally said the word "Duck" after weeks of mommy shadow saying the word Duck at bathtime. Finally got Baby shadow booked in for her MMR vaccinations, Baby shadow wont be too happy for that.
child is on a rampage today, has already by 9am. destroyed the living room with mess, spilt milk on the carpet, trashed her bedroom, threw ebay items on the floor, tried to break into her money box, tried to grab a pooy nappy in the middle of a change, had a tantrum, pulled off the table corner protectors, pulled all the tissues out the tissue box, nearly fell off the sofa, destroyed a carrior bag. im telling you i dont think ill survive the end of the day at this rate
by 10am ive managed to build a throne out of lego blocks for upsey daisy, build a bed out of lego for upsey daisy. gave upsey daisy a lift on lightening mcqueen toy car, played catch with katie, then chased after the ball after katie lost interest. Made a yummy snack, pulled sofa out to remove socks, 5 corks and the telephone.
Baby ahadow loves to walk, And wants to walk everywhere. Baby shadow is also good at TRYING to put her shoes on, all be it the wrong feet. lol. Mommy shadow is hoping to be going back to work and has begun job hunting and sending out C.V's
hello ladies, its been one hell of a long time since ive updated you all on the mommy diaries.
Baby shadow is now 20months old, has mastered the skill of walking and running ( not always fun) we are currently under the challenge of speaking, easier said than done, literally. Potty trainning has been started, though its not in full swing yet, will wait for the summer so wet clothes dry easier and quicker.
Lack of sleep and no free time has definatly took its toll now, its very easy to loose your identity when looking after little ones.
oh i forgot to mention making a mess is another skill baby shadow has mastered.
