Hi! So I currently use Windows Live Messenger as my sole tool to goof off during the day when I'm working. I have a few friends that are on AIM. Is there a good program that allows you to log into both at the same time so I don't have too many different things open on my work computer?

If you find one, let me know!!!! I use Yahoo IM, and am signed into that nearly all the time since that is what a majority of my co-workers use. I have friends that use a variety of different messengers (including you Madame!) and it would be nice to be only signed into one, instead of having multiple srvices up and running at the same time.

Is there such a thing?

I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying.

I found this site that lists them, but I'm hesitant to just download one without hearing what someone who has used one thinks of them.

I use trillian:

Hey, you should check out this cool IM program I use, Trillian. It allows me to talk to people on all the major IM networks. You can find out more about it at http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/

That is their advert within the program.

I use Adium on my mac and love it. The only thing I wish Windows would allow macs to do is handwriting. One of my friends used to draw things and it brightened my day.

I use at home on my mac Adium like Diva does however at work I use Digsby on my PC. I've used many of the chat clients but those 2 are my current favorites

I'd also suggest Meebo. It's an "in-browser" application so you don't have to install anything, just got to meebo.com. Additionally because it's in browser you don't have to worry about PC/MAC incompatibilities. You can log in with pretty much any IM client log in and be on multiple names at once.
