I've been having this small issue for some time now with the yahoo toolbar notifications for my email and Facebook buttons. - I've asked this question on yahoo answers but didn't get an answer and i cant seem to find it anywhere.

I have the email and Facebook buttons on my toolbar on both my Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers they used to have little notifications when i would get a new email or new something on my Facebook and then i updated the toolbar and I don't get them anymore and that sucks because I found them pretty useful so I didn't have to have all these tabs open just to check them. I'm wondering if any of you girls have the buttons and still get the notifications or are you in the same boat with me? Really I just want to know if it's just me and I'm not doing something right.

I recently updated the toolbar and I have been getting some notifications for the my mail but its like 5 hours late and its not even accurate. Still don't get them for Facebook though. I'm posting a pic of my toolbar and I edited the little notifications in the way they used to be so you have an idea of what I'm talking about.

Anyone else notice this?

Is there any way for you to go back to the previous version of yahoo toolbar? Downgrade? I wonder if anyone has the old version you could get.

I've thought about that too but idk how to do it since the only thing it seems to let me do is just uninstall it but I like everything about this version i use except that minor thing so I'll prolly keep it if I can't find a way to solve it.

I know with apps, the 'push' settings can get altered if reinstalled. I'm not sure if there's anything similar with your toolbar. Or possibly if your mail settings within the toolbar have changed and you're not set to 'keep me logged in'.. the email might go idle? Not sure man, hope you figure it out.
