Just checked Amazon on the tracking of my 2nd copies of Gears 3....
Bought it yesterday (Sept. 19th) and it's already out for delivery for today!!! :O Amazing! :D No more split screening with the bf :D
Work about 2 more hours and then I can go home, but I promised to wait with the campaign until my bf comes home since Gears is one of the few games that intrigue him and make him want to play co-op. I'll probably hop into MP or horde for a bit until then. Maybe I can get up early tomorrow and play a bit with y'all before work.. that would be awesome, I'm usually getting up at 6 am anyway which would make it 11 pm your time. Still optimistic I can do it! I'm in the zone baby!
It is a lot harder then I remember the second one to be, or maybe I'm just beyond rusty lol. My hubby and I picked up our copies last night. I've already purchased my pink skin for my guns lol. I'm up for mp, horde or beast if anyone is interested. My xbox name is Judiette.
We played for 7h+ last night and LOVE the game. Can't wait to see how the story ends today, one more act to go... feels super epic right from the start. Haven't touched MP yet because I want to finish the campaign first, but I got all my nice unlockies from the beta :}
Gears is here and it is AWESOME.. Amazing. I spent like 10min kicking a can around. It was so cool, lame I know but it was. I played some MP and got a badge for being revived the most times. SCORE.
Same here - we finished campaign yesterday and it was "only" around 11 pm, so I suggested to "quickly" try out horde mode.. yeah.. 4 hours later: OMG WE NEED TO SLEEP lol xD
It makes me happy to read that others are loving the game as well Can't play tonight, but still seriously looking forward to Friday, Saturday, Sunday!
I was tempted to invite you to the games I was in, but noticed you sometimes had a local party going... so thought you might have had a full crew already.
I'll be finishing Campaign tonight :o So fun, that they need to start working on Gears 4.
I tried Beast Mode last night. Was fun! Was beating record times from the Friends Leaderboards. I wonder what kind of times we could get with more than 2 people in Beast Mode LOL!!
Yeah, I was playing local splitscreen with my bf so I figured I'd best set myself to busy, but since we're done now and I'm playing on my own again, so invite away any time you got a slot open! :D
He has now, had a local GT on my console for a while and I finally got him to join XBL so he could earn achievements on his own (yay - more pling pling achievement sounds when playing local co-op). He's not a big gamer though, although he HAS joined some popchix playdates on Steam in the past
I have played beast mode, horde, and a little on live and I AM LOVING IT! But I am waiting on the campaign until we can get hubby, me, and 2 of the kiddos together to play it at the same time...torture! I knew we were all busy but this is getting rediculas and now hubby has to work for the next 5 nights. ARGH!!!!!!!!!
