I personally like the collector's edition. The soundtrack is awesome, the statue is cool, and I love having the little mouse droid following me around the galaxy.

Yes! The soundtrack was great...except I wish it were longer! I played it while setting up my account and installing the game. 71 minutes just isn't long enough.
Darth Malgus looks and feels awesome...but so evil :( I wish there was a Jedi counterpart. Right now I have him atop the box next to my Alduin statue ontop of his Skyrim CE box. They are battling it out! :D
I haven't tried out the Hologram dancer, or flare gun, but the little droid is pretty cute. Because y'know, cute matters.
I'm not really sure if this is the place to be asking this, but would anyone want to add me on swtor? This is my first mmo, or well, pc game thats not a Sims game, and everything's a bit overwhelming. I've played with the Gamerchix before and loved the community and was hoping maybe someone would like to play with me on swtor? I decided to reroll my Imperial Agent so I'm pretty much a low level again, but overall I'd still consider myself a giant noob.
I wouldn't mind playing with you, fatalesirens. I normally play with a friend of mine from xbox and we have been going through the ranks pretty fast. We normally play on the server Master Gnost-Dural and we are both Empire only.
Oh thank you, Eagle! But ever since that last patch I've had major problems with the games fps. Hopefully once the next patch hits it'll resolve the issue for me. Once I do I'll create a character on that server and add you as a friend.
How is this game working out for people? I really want it but now is not the best time (school being busy and all) so just weighing my options
Yeah, I would suggest you NOT get it if you have other, more important things to do! It is so much fun, and is so engrossing, I have found myself with little time to do anything else. I wake up in the morning thinking about playing, and go to bed wishing I wasn't so tired so I could play more. I really think it's a great game.
I wasn't sure if I was going to get into it as much as I have. I am a Star Wars fan for sure...saw Return of the Jedi in the movie theatre as a child and have loved it ever since, but sometimes SW franchise stuff just gets dumb. But not so with this game.
I am also not much of a social player and DREAD doing dungeons etc with folks in other games, but so far I have enjoyed grouping up to do Heroics and Flashpoints in SWTOR.
Soooo I bought the game....and a time card....haven't installed it yet....cause I don't know if I want to keep it or give it to the bf for Valentine's day >.<
I would like to try it as am an avid WoW player and my guild has a SWTOR sister guild. but atm it's the money issue that's keeping me from playing as I can't see being able to afford to pay for both right now and I don't want to drop WoW. I would love to hear what some of y'all think though that play both.
One more question: Is it like WoW does it really force you into partying up?
I have never played WoW but SWTOR does force you to party up in certain quests like Flashpoints which are meant to be played in a full group and Heroics. Some of the Heroics only require a friend while others require a full group of four people. Also, some of the Heroics can be done solo with a companion. Other than Flashpoints and Heroics, the story can be done solo but can a little bit challenging.
Installed and....it doesn't play...laggy as all get out even on lowest of low settings :(
Make sure shadows is turned off. That is what lags the game. I play on mostly medium settings without shadows and my game runs fine except for the occasional lag.
