I just saw this on Amazon today. I've always been a fan of Guitar Hero and Rock Band.... this is one that'll actually teach you to learn the guitar. Which I've been wanting to do forever. My dad plays the guitar and I always wanted him to teach me. But we're both on different schedules.
I think I might get this for myself for Christmas.
Still not sure about this one. I've read really bad reviews saying how the game suffers from bad audit lag and how it constantly overwhelms you with a raise of difficulty when you've JUST started feeling a little bit comfortable with a song. Now that I've finally bought a real guitar and am taking lessons with good progress it does seem like a great addition, but I can still see how it might also ruin all the fun if it's not done well. I don't knoooooooooow lol.
My husband absolutely loves the game. I have a bass so hopefully they're still planning on having a bass downloadable content. The only bad thing I see so far is that most of the songs and groups I either have never heard of or don't like.
From what I've read it seems pretty decent so I plan on getting this because I've been trying to learn how to play since forever and my guitar has been collecting dust for 4 years.. I haven't even tuned it lol

I might wait closer around Christmas and get it for myself.... going to be moving soon... so might wanna wait until the move... ahhhh not sure..
That is interesting. I wouldn't need the bundle just the game and the cable. My dad has two electric guitars I could use. I was taking acoustic lessons but had to stop much to my teacher's disappointment.
So I finally got this with the whole Black Friday thing. Bought the game separately and decided to get a different guitar instead of the one that's bundled. Got a nice deal at Guitar Center.

a friend told me about this game the other day we were talking about guitar hero and how its fun but its totally different from playing an actual guitar. so he suggested i get rocksmith. it sounds exciting and im definitely going to invest in this as im self taught guitarist for over a year now this will definitely help me learn more and pick up thigns quicker
