Pants? check. Shirt? check. Shoes? check. Good to go. j/k
Well, outside of work, I usually dress casual.. jeans and a nice top kinda thing. At work it's business clothing, even though I'm IT I still have to wear pantsuits and whatnot to climb under desks and into a mess of cables everyday. My personal fave is when I need to climb ladders to get to projectors while wearing heels. >(
@Eith, I hear you. They just recently relaxed the dress code for me cause I destoryed a pair of really expensive dress pants (I'm hard to fit) and made the company pay for them so now I'm allowed to wear jeans as long as I have a suit for meetings and stuff.
As for my style, I am a born and raised cowgirl. There's nothing more awesome than bootcut jeans, cowboy boots, and my canvas duster. If I have to dress up I've finally lost enough weight to wear those little black dresses (although most of mine are red) so I do that every chance I get.
I guess I have gotten spoiled...nope not gonna do the heels thing...they cause bunions and all manner of feet problems... Don't think it happens? I know tons of people who have had to have surgery just to be able to walk again. Heels are a form of torture and I am not participating. If men don't have to wear them I am not either....lol... Would love to see one of the guys in a pair of heels trying to get a projector for a meeting though...
Even when I did work in an actual office I never wore heels... nice flats and dress shoes yes...but not heels. Had one of my bosses get all bent over it once too...but when I asked him to wear them as well... he laughed...got the point and stopped 'requiring' heels. Ok...done venting about heels...*gets off soap box, with her cute sockied feeties*
Goth, rockabilly, punk, pin up, casual, nerdy, prep.... I manage to combine a bit of everything.
Most people meet me and thanks to hair color, piercings, and black being my preferred color they throw me in with goth or whatever. Honestly though I just buy whatever I want and whatever I think looks good on me. I do tend to go more goth and rockabilly but it's not my whole fashion style
Ha ha, I'm completely where you are style wise = ] I'm a mixture of darker clothing and punk styles. I love wearing funky clips in my hair, and wearing it funky. I would love to put cool colors in my hair (pink, purple) but I'm kinda stuck at the moment because I've got wicked naturally curly hair; hence, wearing funky clips and wearing it funky is the only thing I can do =b I wear knee-high boots, tights and dresses (either black or ones with zombies and stuff on them.) I get dirty looks from people in public, mainly because they don't understand the meaning of the word different, or what it is to be an individual. I love piercings and hope to get more = ]
Jeans, t-shirts (gamer, skulls, anime, one statement shirt that says "Stop B******* Start a Revolution."), come "girl" shirts that are mostly military green, and my brand new red wing boots that are amazing. I dress how I want to dress I own few dresses that I wear in my own way. Also on occasion my bright green "fox" tail.
A bit of anything and everything, in summer I might wear dresses and heals and have my hair tied back, other times shorts or a skirt, a t-shirt and a pair of chucks is fine with me :p In winter, either t-shirt or sweater and jeans or something a little classier with either black leather boots (with heals), sometimes a trench coat, slacks or tights, sometimes knits as well. Really, really all over the place.. lol
I don't really do emo or goth, but I will wear blacks with a metal t-shirt and sometimes pink and pretty, all these things reflect my personality so being so varied doesn't seem to bother me or who I'm hanging with.. :p
I wear mostly sporty clothes, tracks pants or jeans. I like to only wear funny t shirts. I think it a waste to not have something at least clever on a a tee. Wasted space otherwise.
Usually I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl but I do like to dress up sometimes and feel girly. If I dress up I like to wear flowy dresses and heels. I love my geeky, gamer shirts. I am not too fond of sneakers unless I can just slip them on and off. I like moccasins or ballet flats, or suede boots with little to no heel. I am very picky about my shoes so I tend not to have many and I will wear a pair until they are in tatters, literally falling apart and can't be stitched back together. If I am at home I will either just have on my pj bottoms, or 10 cent shorts from good will, and one of my extremely holey t-shirts that is at the best stage of comfy vs falling apart. If I have them I will also wear my soft fuzzy slippers or go barefoot or in socks.
