Hello - I don't know if you ladies wrote your own forum tool or are using a third party one, but I had a few questions. I'm not sure how much of this I can control in my personal user settings:
1) In the Forum Home view, is it possible for me to control the order of the columns? More specifically, to put the latest post info column next to the Forum Name column? Honestly, I use that info WAY more than the # of Topics and # of replies.
2) Can I turn off 'Moderators: popchiX Founders' on the Forum name? It's just the same for every thread - just kinda clutters the forum description. I know that info is important should there be a problem in a thread, but in all honesty I'll probably just use the report option before looking up a mod.
3) In 'Latest Post Info' column, can I change 'author' to 'by' - I keep thinking that person created the original post, but they really just posted a response. Just a little confusing.
4) Is it possible to see the number of people viewing a particular forum?
5) Are you going to enable themes? I see 'grey' in the forum dropdown list at the bottom, but it's the only option. Just curious.
Most of what you're asking has to be accomplished on the back-end. I'll tackle them as you posted:
1) If there's enough requests for this, I could do some back-end work. I don't like making big changes unless the majority wants it.
2) It is the same for every forum right now but it could/will change in the future so we need to keep it.
3) I agree that the wording of this is kinda crap. I will change it to "latest post by"
4) Ooops I forgot this one. I will look into it.
5) This theme closely matches the main site. I'd rather not have 8 million different themes out there that don't really represent us. Down the line, I may do a light on dark theme but that would probably be it.
About the themes, I don't think it should be that extravagant. Keeping them to just solid colors would be just fine. I don't think we need that many options.
