For those who don't know HeartGold and SoulSilver are the DS remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver but with added features and more pokemon!
The game has been out in Japan Since the beguinning of September but won't be out in the US or Europe till spring next year :-(

For some reason when it comes to Pokemon games i have no patience to wait for the UK release date so i'm very tempted to import the game so i can play it.
I also really want to try out the Poke walker!

Is anyone else wanting this game?
If so will you be importing it or waiting till it's out in your country?

I'm not a huge Pokemon fan but I'm sure I'll grab it when it hits the store.

I don't know if I've ever made it past the third gym though :D I always seem to lose interest at the same point

That sucks! I wish all games would come with the same bonuses!

We usually get special events here but we always get them a few months after the US does so hopefully they will do something like that.
fingers crossed it would be a shiny mew though! lol Really want one for my platinum pokedex >_<

We pre-ordered 3 copies last night at GameStop. One for me, one for my husband and one for my 8 year old. I am way excited for the pokewalker. I love it when I can get in shape while playing video games

@EnchantedDaisy: That is soooo awesome! I'm a huge Pokemon fan and I've already pre-ordered my copies of Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I'm actually off from work next Sunday, so I'm bringing my Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games to get the special Pichu.

I drove in a foot of snow to go to GameStop today. It was the only store in the shopping center open other than the movie theatre. I was pre-ordering SoulSilver while my husband was getting the special Pichu download at the DS download station and he said I could go ahead and order both! XD

I wasn't a huge fan of the Gold/Silver series, but the Leaf Green and Fire Red remakes were awesome, so I'm considering picking up SoulSilver. Then again, I heard they were making a completely new Pokemon game soon, so I might wait for that.

Well I have picking away at my copy of HeartGold. This week I have finally broke out my Pokewalker. OMG I can't believe how motivating it is for me to walk now! You earn watts or "W" by walking 20 steps. You then use your W to catch Pokemon (in a battle system most similar to the safari zone), a chance to get items, or unlock new routes your Pokemon can walk on. Some Pokemon can only be obtained through the Pokewalker on certain routes. So it is very motivating to get lots of steps in so you have more chances to catch the Pokemon and unlock new routes. I love this thing, I walked over 9 km yesterday!

Yeah I've been playing the crap out of Heart Gold. I'm extremely close to beating my record of three badges, all I have to do is beat the Ecruteak gym leader (he's so tough!)

I walked +12000 steps yesterday and +13000 steps today! I am feeding my video game addiction all day long and getting into shape. I love it!
