I'm thinking about it, since I can actually drive from here. However I am determined to get to PAX10 (we're calling it Prime now, I think?) and not sure if my budget can handle both. Flights from Canada are nasty-expensive :(
As far as I can tell, they haven't announced who will be there and I'm not sure what the heck kind of stuff will be shown or announced in March...?... Hoping to get some details soon so that I can decide.
EDIT- I live only an hour or 2 away from where they are having it, but I don't think I will be going this year. I am curious as to how much the tickets cost?
What is PAX East?
PAX East is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we've got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers. Even with all this amazing content the best part of PAX East is hanging out with other people who know their poop when it comes to games.
