I think the GameCube was a much better system than a lot of people give it credit for.

Some of my favorite games are on that system. Add in the WaveBird (the best wireless controller on the market at the time by a LONG shot) and you had a pretty cool system that no one gave credit to :p

I still have mine but I've given it to my wee bro - well I say wee he's 24 in a few days!

He's only got a PS2 - not even got the net or a working pc so since I can play the games on the Wii / 360 when he got his flat he got my Gamecube & Xbox.

I'm such a nice big sister wink

I agree, the gamecube was a good console and deserved better cred. What games do you have?

It'd be easier to just list my favorites because I have quite a few games smile

I love Eternal Darkness (one of the best games ever), Extreme G3 (I prefer this version to the PS2 version), Mario Kart Double Dash, Pacman Vs (Awesome competitive Pacman games), Star Wars Rogue Leader,Super Monkey Ball and Luigi's Mansion.... I have awesome memories of each one of those games.

Plus just think of the game series that originally debuted on the GameCube: Pikmin, Metroid Prime, Animal Crossing, Super Monkey Ball and Viewtiful Joe.

Love it!

I use to own a Game Cube but sold it and the games 2 years ago to buy a Nintendo DS. I now own a Wii and a tiny Game Cube collection of two games lol.

I still have my baby safe and sound in my closet. I mostly play with the Xbox 360, but take it out once it a while when I want to play certain games.

We still have our Game Cube as well but it is now in my 8 year olds bedroom. I swear the thing is indestructible, I have no clue how many times that thing was yanked off the shelf (the cords are a bit short on the controllers) If we want to play any of the game we just pop them in the Wii. I think we play the old Game Cube games as much as the Wii games.

Yes, I own a GameCube and my boyfriend has a Japanese GameCube that was modded to play American games. There's a button on the back of it that switches between the two motherboards.

I still have/play my GC but I mostly play GameBoy games on it with the thing-I-can't-remember-the-name-of to run them. It makes playing those tiny games much easier and I can use the GC controller which is nice, too. I just never had that many GC games that were very good.

I still have mine - it's packed up in my kid's closet though. If I want to play an old GC game, I throw it on my wii.
