This was the first ever handheld console I had and I used to take it everywhere on holiday with me. It was great for long car journeys! And the games were really good for their time. Unfortunately one day the gamegear stopped working and that was the end of that. I think I had it for about 8 - 10 years before it broke.

I just picked up another one of these tonight (finally found a blue one that had its battery covers).

Nifty little system. Too bad it eats AA batteries like a maniac!

You can plug it in with a adapter, if you can find one that is.
