Mafia 2 is SOO good... I was able to borrow it from my cousin (works at Gamestop), so I've been able to play it before release date... I'm disappointed though, 'cause it's too short...! There was also supposed to be an alternate ending, but it got scrapped... So for me it's worth renting, just not buying right off the bat...

*PROBABLE SPOILER ALERT - HIGHLIGHT TO READ*

How short? I finished the game with a total gametime of 12 hrs.+ but mind you, this was on easy so I could enjoy the game... And doing just the story quests... Now if you want to go through every single part of the map looking for the collectibles, wanted posters, (you KNOW you want to find those Playboy mags... LOL!) and/or just plain exploring, then you have to do it when you get missions that tell you to get from point A to point B and of course the ones without a time limit or cops chasing you... >_<

Maybe I will give the original Mafia a try. I watched the trailers for Mafia 2 and I just couldn't get into it. {ducks for cover}

We had a field mouse in the house last night. And in my bedroom, too. AHHHHHH! The last time we had a mouse in this house was NINE years ago. I saw the thing scuttle along the wall by the crawlspace while I was in the XBOX dashboard. Anyone who was on probably just saw me sitting there idle for long time. My XBOX was idle. Me? Not so much. The damn thing ran to the heating baseboard and snuck down the hole by the pipe (we have forced hot water). Grrr! My two remaining cats are useless. "Mrrrooooow! Mrow?" (meaning: "Huh? That's not a pencil, so I have no idea what to do with that. You and I play fetch with pencils, remember?")

Ugh. {shudders} Making a Home Depot run today, that's for sure! That crawlspace and my bedroom are the new part of the house, so we apparently need to seal it up better.

Now I don't usually watch tv much anymore usually just a little bit of MTV here and there and I used to like their show "MADE" but definitely not so much anymore.

Dear MTV,
Thank you so much for portraying all band kids to be hopeless losers instead of musicians. In reality, we're quite happy with being in band actually. Sorry, none of us are sitting around wishing we were cheerleaders. Just when I thought your television station couldn't get any more shallow, you go and prove me wrong. So ...you can take your new "MADE the Movie" and shove it. Kthanx, bye.

My friend actually wrote that little "letter" rant and I couldn't have said it any better myself.

I do not want to go school supply shopping. I'd rather stay home and have beer. But I must go school supply shopping. Weekend is full and school starts Monday. Wahhh.

I can't wait to go school supply shopping!! ... but my daughter is only 2 1/2, lol. From what other parents have told me, the novelty of buying school supplies for your kids wears off pretty quick smile . Shopping for school supplies was always one of the best parts of the school year for me.

Anyway, I just finished my first "major" dungeon in the Ultima 6 Project last night! It was awesome.. did tons of exploring, found some very good loot, and came out with all 8 party members' bags full to the brim. I finished up a couple of quests as well, so I need to stock up on supplies, and head out for my next task: I need to find my ship and set sail for Jhelom, the city of valor!

Today at work, a woman came in and brought up an incident that happened over a month ago. She basically re-cussed out me and my manager. *sigh* It is ridiculously hard to sit there and do nothing when somebody talks bad about you right to your face.

I still can't believe she came back after a month just to get pissed off about it all over again. I seriously think she was trying to get me fired or something but thankfully she was the one in the wrong both times.

It just further explains why the JetBlue flight attendent went off on a passenger and then popped out the emergency slide and slid down after he quit his job. I think by saying "the customer is always right!" has really gotten out of hand. It's also why I refuse to work with the public. I don't know why it's so hard for people to be civil.

Ah...Ultima! I only ever played Ultima Online but I still like seeing it mentioned. (although the roleplaying drama I do not miss!)

I can't wait for the three day weekend. I have no idea what I'm going to do, but it won't be work! Maybe I'll draw. Though my drawing is mostly doodling.
