I have both, and hardly ever use Wii Fit except to weigh myself. It's kind of fun, but isn't really "exercise" and has a lot of flaws. There are no workouts or playlists, so if you want to do a workout you have to select each exercise individually and they're only a minute or two long. I loved the idea of doing yoga with the Wii, but it's a lot of picking up and putting down the Wii-mote and moving the board and driving the menu. EAS Active is actually exercise, it's more like doing a workout DVD with motion control. The controls are a little picky and you can't weigh yourself with it (ummm, I'm standing on a $100 super-sensitive scale? that seems like a no-brainer to me) but other than that it's quite good. There are a ton of workouts to choose from at all difficulty levels, and they range from about 20 min to just under an hour. You can make your own workouts too, or customize the ones they give you. I did the 30 day challenge on hard and it was HARD, but in a good way. I sweated up a storm... and cursed out the virtual trainer more than once! Lost weight and inches, fast. The resistance band is crap, it's too light and mine broke in two weeks. You'll want to get your own. Still it's very decent and is on sale everywhere now since the new one is coming out soon. I've seen good combos for Wii Fit + EAS Active also, if you want the balance board or have kids... my kids like playing the Wii Fit mini games
