The 4th iteration of the Nintendo DS.
Bigger Screens, compatibility with DSi Ware, no compatibility with GBA games, preloaded with the DSi Browser, Flipnote Studio, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math, and a dictionary program.

Other than the larger screens (which is the main & best feature) I don't see the need to upgrade from my DSi just yet. I like the smaller DSi because I can easily carry it around with my other gadgets. However, if my DSi were to break I could see upgrading to the DSi XL but only then.

If I actually played my ds regularly I'd get one smile The larger screen sounds lovely, I have the original ds still raspberry

I'm getting one. It's SOOOO nice. I love my DSi and I figure I'll just give mine to my husband and I'll keep the DSi XL.

I have the original DS that my hubby bought me for Christmas the year they came out. I gave him that one to use when he bought me the metallic rose DS lite when that one came out. That is the one I am still using, but I am very tempted by the DSi XL's bigger screens and the extra DSi functions. It's so expensive though! Yikes!
