so i have a extrememly fat sim, she was adopted as a child and was chubby, as a teenagers she was chubby and now as an adult shes obese, i have her running on the tredmill and nothing seams t make her loose her weight.
id rather spend my reward points on somthing else rather than that body transformation thing
I got the sims 3 almost immediatly after it came out. Unfotunately it dissapointed me. I haven't touched it in months. I still get this itch to play the sims 2 once in awhile. I absolutely love the sims 2.
yeh i agree the sims 2 was awesome. the one thing i do like about sims 3 is they WILL look after themselves if i leave them alone for 5 minutes, they will use the toilet if they need it and pee there selves, take themselves to work, answer the phone , so on so forth
And then I paused right as Caboose was looking at LeeLee's... "naughty bits" with a shocked expression like "I promise I won't drink out of the toilet, nooo, please don't cream puff me!" http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/7836/nooonocreampuff.jpg
Also, note: Yes. CeeCee and LeeLee look like twins and they are also married. Jen and I often make twin characters, so it makes sense. *nods*
I played TS3 non-stop when it came out, but now I haven't touched it in months. I just got bored. I played TS2 almost 24/7 for years and never got bored. I guess the leap from TS1 to TS2 was bigger than 2-3 which made 2 more fun and interesting for me.

You kind of took the words right out of my mouth. Thats kind of how I felt about the sims 3. It had cool features and stuff but i slowly stopped playing it as much. With the sims 2 there was so much that was new to explore and well do anything! I haven't played the sims 2 in about a month but I still get random urges to just pull it out and play for hours and I have never gotten bored after all these years.
I also have to play the sims 3 on my laptop because our desktop cant handle it. It loads up fine, it's just super slow and laggy. So I'm not even sure if im gonna get the expansion because I don't want to put anymore stress on my laptop since the base game itself took so much.
why is it you cant hire a gardener to do your gardening? its so annoying i dont want to have to tend my garden every flipping day to stop my crops dying.
I can't remember when, maybe a week or two ago, Jen and I re-installed The Sims 2 and all of our expansions, except University, which we cannot find. This also meant we had to re-download everything we once had and considering I alone had over 4,000 downloads, we couldn't find everything. But we found some favorites and some new stuff.
Holy crap, I just checked my downloads. 3,745 within these last few weeks. Haha! I think I have a problem. ^_^ But seriously, I just like realistic looking Sims.
We want The Sims 3, but do not have the money for it right now. I didn't want it at first, because I didn't like the chunky Sims. Jen and I normally make our Sims look like us and we're thin. Plus, that's what we find attractive, so we really prefer any sim we make to be thin.
However, I've noticed people have found ways to slim the faces and the eyes are finally looking more normal! I think what's REALLY drawn us in though, is the traits and customization. ^_^
I just got sims 3 and started again... I like some things more and something things less
I haven't messed with it like I did 2... I played 2 as a school project with social experiment and norms being the goal (meaning see what we could manipulate and what we couldn't)
I spent hours playing the sims2, and even attempted the legacy challenge...[by the 4th or 5th generation, the game would get a horrible glitch, and I'd have to start over...eventually i just gave up, lol]
one thing i don't like about thesims3, is the fact that you have to upload your screenshots online, and then put your story together, instead of putting it together as you go, like you could in the sims2.
the sims3 does have awesome graphics, cool features, and it seems more lively too, because as the your game progresses, so does the rest of the neighborhood.
i play both of them from time to time....i was a total sims2 addict. one day, my sister was playing, and she asked, "where are the bar stools?" my boyfriend said he didn't know, but he'd look in the strategy guide. before either of them could move i said, "Look in the chairs folder, under the miscellanous tab. they're in there."
