The all time best game soundtrack surely has to be from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. That was awesome - I still listen to those songs now, 10 years on or whatever! :D

That is my definite favorite vid game song since I first played FF8 when I was 8 years old.
I never looked up the song itself since I was so young, and if I wanted to hear it again I'd just start a new game, haha,
and now that I'm older, it was just never something I got around to doing.
I LOVE that song from Final Fantasy VIII!!! Omg...This song brings back a lot of memories, lol. I remember after I'd gotten the Eden GF, I was using the devour ability to slowly up my stats on all my characters...I worked on it for weeks, and wasn't even close to being done...and then someone erased or saved over my game!! I was soo mad....I promised myself I'd get back to it, but never did.

I didn't even get a Playstation until it had been out for a few years, and FFVIII was the first FF I ever played. I never finished the game though because I got to the beginning of the fourth disc and the data corrupted on the card. Boy was I mad. That also happened to me with FFVII. So of course, Liberi Fatali was the first one I had heard, and it helps that it's in Latin because I love songs like that in Latin.
After playing Mirror's Edge again, I have to say that the official sound track "Still Alive", is really good. I also listened to "Still Alive" from Portal for the first time today and I absolutely love it, it's adorable!
The Elder Scrolls Oblivion (Jeremy Soule) is one of my favorites. I listen to that quite a bit. Also the first and second Assassin's Creed soundtracks, you can't beat Access the Animus. Jesper Kyd is so awesome! He does a lot of gaming soundtracks including the Hitman series, which are also very good. I'd say Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 1 are also great. I don't care for the Mass Effect 2 one as much. I also LOVE the Fear and Condemned scores by Nathan Grigg - I have only been able to find them on You Tube though. I wish they would sell them, I'd buy them all in a heartbeat!
