I passionately LOVE video game music. Did you guys ever go to one of the GDC concerts? I think my personal highlight was the "video games live" performance for the GDC 2008 in San Francisco... my first time in the US, plus my first time on such a big game conference. Oh, and then meeting Nobuo Uematsu in person and talking to him and getting his autograph... aaahhhh... very special moment for me, his music always accompanied me during my awkward and awful teenager time.

Game music is what I love playing most on my piano as well. Here's my top ten, in chronological order of song appearance in my life:

I have to add that I like the soundtrack to inFamous. After playing the game a bit I went and bought it off iTunes.

This is slightly different but I enjoy the music from Fallout 3 and I've found a guy - a German guy so Lucienna might know of him - and his style reminds me a lot of Fallout 3. Max Raabe & Palast Ochester. Seriously you could have put most of his stuff on the radio stations in the Fallout universe and it would fit right in.

I have to agree, I love the music in the Fallout games. I just wish they would add more of it.

I downloaded a lot of the Silent Hill songs recently from Akira Yamaoka.

For the credits of Mass Effect, at the very end they have the song M4, Pt. II by Faunts playing. Gave me chills first time I heard it on there.
