However, if you mean with other people, no way. I do not believe the Cosmo articles that saying harmless flirting is fine. Then again, they say somethings should be kept secret from your partner. Neither of us flirt with anyone else and we literally know everything about each other - even teeny tiny little stuff. It's just who we are.

I basically do not flirt with anyone, besides my wife. Not even on a game like WoW, where I role-play and "play" a part. I think any flirting, even a wink in some other guys/girls direction is cheating. A lot and I mean a LOT of people do not feel that way, so I may be very rare, but I just don't believe in flirting at all. Online or off.
People have tried to flirt with Jen and I and we quickly tell them "married!" Which NORMALLY shuts people up and gets them to leave us alone... Normally -_-' AKA: Some people are idiots.

As far as Cosmo is concerned, I'm definetely a subscriber to their mag, but I take what they say with a grain of salt, too. I take what applies to me, and leave the rest behind. =]
I totally agree, Phoenix. I looooooooooove Cosmo and well, tons of other magazines (I freaking ADORE magazines) but like you, I take some of their things with a grain of salt.
i dont buy them beauty or fashion magazine i believe they promote low self estem amungst other things, but i do flirt ocassionally, most of the time i dont realise i do it, but i definatly make sure that who ever i flirt with know im married and im just being harmless and so on. like a recent friend of mine littles and icekitty know. me and him flirt and joke about together, the first thing i said to him was im married so im only messing around so dont take offense or anything like that. and me and him are pretty cool, we tease each other ( not sexually, but in game, like shooting each other and so on) and enjoy each others company. i believe you can flirt with someone with out it being sexual.

Agreed, I suppose it's more what we Scots call "Banter" in that context. I think there are different degrees of flirting depending on the person, like I flirt with my gay male friends but nothing will happen with us so we can take it a bit further than with maybe a passing acquaintance. My best straight male friend is quite bad and dirty at me sometimes but it's harmless as we know each other so well, whereas if, say, a work colleague said it that would be crossing a line.
as long as you and the person your flirting with know its just "fun" i dont see the problem. sometimes its nice to flirt with someone other than your partner

Flirting is like leading someone on in my opinion.. or making someone other than your significant other feel special. I keep that between my boyfriend and I.
Him on the other hand.. lol. Sometimes he just doesn't realise he's flirting and the girl will look at me uncomfortably like "is your man hitting on me/checking me out?"
