wow you have had it rough. let me start by saying im glad your alive and "well" ( although the word well is used loosely). dont blame your self for your friend loosing his life. we cant change the hands fate has delt us. you friend still might not have faired any better if you had swopped seats. dont beat your self up there was nothing that could have been done. As far as the girls go, i hope you get custody and form a stable atmosphere for them.
as said by blockette and sakura, you can always vent here, cry here, moan here, anything you need, the whoe basis of popchix is to support each other. Hang in there things can only go up.
Sounds like the last few weeks have been a complete roller coaster for you.
I'm glad you got custody of the girls. There would be nothing worse for them right now to be put under the care of strangers. It wouldnt be fair on you (not knowing how the are etc) or the girls who would be put into a new environment with nothing familiar around them.
You sound like your doing alright though and have a positive attitude towards the future. I've never lost anyone close to me so I cant even begin to imagine how your feeling. But as it was said before, rant away in here when times get tough or the girls start poking each others eyes out. Its what we're here for.
@Solo, I know I'm late to the party but I also wanted to tell you how sorry I am for what happened and how glad I am that you got custody of the girls until their dad gets out. It sounds like they're going to be in loving hands during this tough time.
@Shadow. Has the baby moved out of breech yet? I know you mentioned that in one of the other posts.
^^^ i dont think so, when there pressure on my ribs, and i have a feel ,it still feels really hard ( like a hard head rather than a soft bottom) i have midwifes on thusday so ill get her to have a check.
urrrggghhhhh my feet are so swollen, it looks like they are someone elses feet and not my own. anybody else have that durring there pregnancy
My cousin had really swollen feet and hands during her last month of pregnancy, she had trouble putting clothes on 'cause her fingers were so thick.
swollen feet and hands in meant to be a sign of pre eclamcia. luckily my bloody pressure and urine samples have been clear up untill now. i just hope its just because of the weight of my bump thats causing my feet to swell.
more annoyingly i have some flabby skin under my bump and in the centre ( bellow my belly button) there like a small lump the size of a grape. really annoying, not painfull or anything it just doesnt look very nice.
