I mainly use Firefox, but I do use IE every now and then.. for some reason IE won't work anymore on my computer. Whenever I click on the icon the window pops up and immediately shuts back down again, anyone know what the problem is? I have IE 8 and Windows 7 if that helps.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but here's a few things to try.

How to open without add-ons
If you have Google Desktop installed, try uninstalling it. Sometimes it interferes with IE
If neither of those work, try uninstalling it and reinstalling.

Hope you get it to work!

Is your computer all up to date from windows update?

Windows Update = http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

But, most of the time, running IE 8 without any add-ons will fix it

Yeah, it is. I managed to fix the problem with the link Jeseh provided so it's working now. smile

Yea, I read somewhere that IE has more security flaws, thats why I use firefox or opera
