Has anyone purchased passes yet? I'm not able to go because it's too far away, but I plan on following tweets!
PAX East dates were released by Reed Expositions -- http://www.reedexpo.com/en/Our-Events/FactSheet/?evEdId=1450 March. 11-13 at http://www.bostonconventioncenter.com My husband's and my 15th anniversary is March 15th, and we haven't had a night away in YEARS, so we are making a weekend of it. I've booked a walking-distance hotel already. {blush} The Seaport is already booked. So I went for it and made reservations at one of the close ones before they booked out, too.
We haven't gotten ours yet (although I think both myself and the BF are getting Speaker badges on top of the ones we ordered incase something goes belly up), nor have I gotten any of the "Canadians". It's hella expensive to send the passes to various spots in Canada (like, an additional 15 bucks or something?) so everyone who stays with us ends up asking (and of course I agree) if they can just ship their stuff here.
Speaking of which, if ya'll come to PAXP, you need to come to my Panel on Saturday - "Online Communities & Real Life Relationships"
(Can't remember time off my head, but come support me? It's my first panel :D)
As usual, arrangements have been made for a Pre PAX meet type thing on the Thursday night. This is not just girls. But if you in Seattle and want to meet up with other gamers you are more than welcome. I will post the location week of. Only condition is you need to be 21 as the bar will not let underage in.
I would love to, but unfortunately I am only coming up for the day on Saturday (from Portland), but would still love to meet up with some other PopchiX/GamerchiX.
That's the panel I'm on with several others, including fellow clanmate, H2O Rip (representing PMS), (I'm representing PCX and XGX ;D), DSmooth (Co-founder of 2old2play) and Cathlin Sentz (Community Manager, ZTGD.com / N4G.com)
tix are still available for Sunday. me and the BF might venture down to seattle for the day to check out the scenery!! a thursday meet n greet would be fun! provided traffic isn't horrific, maybe i'll swing on over!
