I came across a video that was on of the most sickening things I have ever seen in my life. I could say a lot of things but as they say a picture speaks a thousand words. But this video speaks millions I consider myself an animal lover and to see this made my blood boil. There is a petition online and I hope eveyone will sign it to bring these no good people to justice.

Seeing things like this always infuriate me. We had a case up here where a young adult tied the family dog to the back of a pickup truck and well you get the idea. And what did he get? a fine and he's not allowed to own dogs for 10 years. OOOooooo big punishment. As far as I'm concerned anyone who abuses animals is no different from those who abuse children.
They depend on us for protection and give us unconditional love & affection and this is how they're repaid. What has this world coming to?
I think I heard somewhere that people who perform acts of violence and cruelty upon animals, are statistically more likely to commit acts of violence and cruelty to other humans. You would think that there would be a red flag psych evaluation on those people...

i wish i hadnt of watched it to be honest. ive seen some cruety videos before but this one takes the biscuit!!
@Eith, yeah I think I've heard that one about sociopathic behaviour too.
The video made me cry cause I love all animals and my dog at home isn't much bigger that the one in the video. It's crap like this that makes me wonder how humans got to be the dominant species on the planet.
I'm not watching that vid... that picture alone made me cry so i know i can't handle that vid.. I know it's gonna have some bad effects on me. I'm signing that petition thou.
I'm seriously getting nauseous thinking what that dog went through... and i still don't understand how can anyone do that. People like this make me so mad. Here in Puerto Rico the laws against animal cruelty are total crap. Like in many places, if someone commits cruelty against animals, they get little to no punishment at all. It's really sad.
I love animals, and i love my pets with all my heart. I worry for them, i take care of them, i kiss & hug them and i tell them "I love you". They make me happy and i try my best to make them happy too. Sadly not all members of my family are as loving to animals as i am. My dad is not an animal lover, and he abuses them... i don't understand why if he doesn't like animals he continues to get pets. I've had many fights with him cuz of this. I still have a lot of memories from when i was around 5 years where i would find him beating up his dogs... i used to cry so much cuz of this, and i used to get in the way to try and protect the dogs Not happy memories at all. I stopped talking to him for months cuz of that.
Just yesterday I was driving to college and there was an incoming car with 4 dudes inside. One of the guys in the back opened his door on purpose to hit a poor stray dog that was walking. He did hit the dog and all of them where laughing. I saw that and got soooo mad! Lucky i was drinking from a can of 16 oz Pepsi that was full still... i threw that can at their windshield with such power that it exploded all over! They stopped the car and got out screaming at me... and i just kept driving giving them my pretty middle finger I hate stupid people!
I can only imagine what the video is, and I don't think my heart could take watching it. Animal cruelty is absolutely horrible, and I think laws should be a bit better to deal with such people.
There really are no words to describe the people who did this. Absolutely ridiculous. Whenever the dog would lay still, I would actually hope that he was dead mainly just so his torture could end. I mean it's one thing to just kill an animal but it's another to torture it to death. I mean they have no respect for life so I can't even imagine how they might treat other ppl if they can treat a defenseless dog like that.
I was watching Animal Cops Philadelphia and a guy threw 3 cats at a wall killing two of them do to brain damage. His punishment was gonna be about 5-10 years in prison with other consequences. So I guess animal cruelty charges completely depend on the state and especially the conutry, and I agree that it is just as bad as torturing and killing a human. It's horrible to know these things go on.
I agree completely about the cruelty laws. If you cause pain to anything that can respond to it you should be put in prison. None of this stupid fines and probation punishment crap. It doesn't accomplish anything!
It's rare for me to want my country to be more like another but when you are talking about this I wish that Canada would take a page out of the United States' book and through it at them (the book that is)
I agree more should be done for animal cruelty as far as not just getting a lousy slap on the wrist for being a cruel ba***rd to another living being. I can't watch the video though. I have to put a sticky up on my computer when they have ads for animal cruelty on my computer sidebar. On a side note, I think sometimes PETA goes way overboard and I feel they sometimes hurt normal everyday people who are trying to end real animal cruelty in the world. Enough with the stupid vapid celebrities just trying to push their own fame and the posing naked and all that crap. Just put real, everyday ads out there of the viciousness that goes on. That is more effective and real to me.
Its something that makes me so mad. Why people think they can treat anything that only wants their love and attention is beyond me.
Those adverts on telly where the dogs are being abandoned in houses or tied up next to road brings me to tears everytime.
My dog was the runt of the litter. If we hadnt of adopted her, I dont wanna think what would have happened to her.
More has to be done for people who abuse animals. Banning people from keeping them wont stop them from doing it again. Lock the monsters up and throw away the key.
