When I saw this video game on Amazon.ca for the respectable price of $29.99 I was like, "Ha, I'm totally getting this even though I know it's going to be absolutely awful." Yes, I purchased this game knowing it couldn't be good. I waited patiently for it to arrive knowing the controls were going to be God awful, the camera angles were going to give me a headache, and the graphics and character animations were going to give me the impression I was playing my PlayStation 2 again. So when the game arrived and I popped it into my 360 it didn't dissapoint me--well, how could it, really, when my[...]

After more then a decade of making jokes about the never ending delays of Duke Nukem Forever, we finally have it. Twelve long years to create another installment of the Duke Nukem franchise.
So was the wait worth it? No.

Ok, so maybe that is a little short and slightly unfair, but this game is a largely a let down. The game itself takes place twelve years after the events of Duke Nukem 3D, and the aliens have come back to get revenge mostly on Duke rather then the world, blah blah blah. The plot really just serves as an explanation for going from point A to point B. The lack of a plot

While None of the PopChiX founders made it to E3 this year (/tear), we are still just as excited by what's coming out as you are. I've put together some links to videos with game demos that made my jeans less dry. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

I will add more as I find them or as you request them. Many of these have age gates so logging in to Youtube first would be a good idea.

After one play through of L.A. Noire I have to say I am very very impressed. Rockstar has once again done what they do best, and have created a totally unique and wonderful world for gamers to get lost in. This time though, instead of the streets of a modern city, or the world of the old west, they have dropped us right in the middle of L.A. after the end of World War 2.

You take over a war vet who is trying to make his way from just a normal patrol cop to the top of the homicide squad. Your first few cases serve as the tutorial and you learn how to drive, fight, investigate crime scenes and

If a bullet-hell shooter with polarity swapping and a 2D hack & slash platformer ever had offspring, it could be a spawn of hell called "Ikarupersia" that could only be beaten by the most expert pro-gamers practicing it for weeks. Or it could be a really pretty little baby named Outland.

When I got this game I didn't know much more about it than that the screenshots looked nice and that it was apparently some sort of 2D jump 'n' run. Once I had started to play the demo, it wasn't long until I bought the full game - and if you have the slightest love for platformers, you should definitely give

As a fan of the original PC AvP and of all of the films and comics associated with this series, few things were more exciting than the news that AvP was being made for the XBOX 360. That excitement came with a heavy dose of apprehension though. The original PC version, while fun, did not quite do the series justice. So I feared the same situation might occur with this iteration of game. So how did it do?

While this game is not perfect, it is freaking awesome. I am truly bewildered at the relatively low scores that "professional" reviewers have given it. Lest I appear to be a zealous fan of

With the recent announcement of Modern Warfare 3 (and the complete spoiling of the storyline if you're Google savvy), I can't help but wonder if enough is enough. I've played my share of First Person Shooters, but since the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and the implementation of the perk system and killstreaks, it seems like games are trying to be just like Call of Duty or trying to become "the next big thing." Thing is, no one's succeeded and Call of Duty is still on top.

So my question is, when does it end? How many more Call of Duty games are we going to see before the

Many gamers out there are already aware of the game Torchlight thanks to Steam. However the Xbox Live Arcade release is nothing to be ignored, especially for those that missed it on their computers. Torchlight feels pretty much the same on the console as it did on the PC. There are different classes you can pick and you can get a pet (you can also choose from a few) before starting your dungeon crawling adventure. The first thing I will warn people about is - don't expect much in the way of customization. Gender is tied to class, and there isn't a lot in the way of different pets to choose

Full House Poker is the latest in many games to try and help amateur pokers players scratch their Texas Hold'em itch. It mixes Xbox Live Arcade avatar games and standard Texas Hold'em fun. Like other avatar games, you play as your avatar against anywhere from 1-9 other randomly selected avatars. Players can choose to either just play in an open game, a tournament against computers, online, or in pro-take downs.

For normal games you can choose to play against 1, 6, or 9 other computers with a buy in starting at $250. The nice thing about this style is that you don't ever have to worry about

Anyone who likes CSI, point and click games, or just likes easy achievements has probably played one of the CSI games. So how does Fatal Conspiracy hold up?

The first CSI was the most basic - it didn't include nearly as many options for evidence gathering, comparing, etc. as the second, so it's safe to assume that the third would be even better, right? Wrong, a lot of options and challenges have been taken away from the player. Case in point - a lot of evidence gathering (for larger things) is now instant, also the computer clearly highlights an available tool from each category
