Get Spanked by Death

There have been many hack and slash, games with adult humor trying to be the new Castle Crashers. Deathspank might be the closest we've gotten so far.

From the mere suggestion that I should try this game, I downloaded the trial and started hammering some poor, unsuspecting aliens who were trying to steal my power cores.

Having been addicted too World of Warcraft since the day it found its way onto our games shelf, I thought it was time for a change. That change came in the shape of Aion: The Tower of Eternity.

I am not a Batman comic purist but I am a fan of all the movies back to Adam West's portrayal in the 60s. Hell, I dressed up as the Joker to see the premiere of Tim Burton's Batman in 1989. Of course, as the decades have passed, Batman has grown darker and into a more disturbed character. This is all too evident in this newest incarnation.

Cheap, numerous, and quickly accessible apps are the differentiator for the iPhone. The problem with a glut of apps is weeding through the junk. It's like rummaging the sales rack; a golden find is usually surrounded by trendy debris in the wrong size or wrong color. I rely on word-of-mouth for the must-have apps. Ragdoll Blaster from Backflip Studios is one I picked up from the recommendation of a co-worker. It has replaced my DS this month - sorry Nintendo.

I have always considered myself a hardcore gamer but when it came to spending my last $2 on Ramen, a $59.99 game was not really practical. Unfortunately, I was faced with this problem the first half of the year as were many of my friends. I soon axed my casual game snobbery when I started playing games like Burger Shop and Little Shop Memories on Gamehouse.com. I recently downloaded a little gem called Youda Sushi Chef that didn't disappoint.
