Apparently, Ubisoft oopsied and released a screen on their official site pointing to an October 29, 2013 release date. I'm sure all will be revealed with the teaser trailer set to hit our screens.

According to the website, the trailer will be shared on Facebook.

HA! I was just talking smack about this to my friend too. There is a new protagonist - Edward Kenway. He's Connor's grandfather. I would be more sold on this if some how there was some recursive glitch in the animus so you're Desmond reliving Ezio who's reliving Kenway. It doesn't even have to make sense - Ezio as a pirate rulez!

I figured it would be. And does this now hint that the new consoles will be launched before the end of October? Hmmmm...

I know the rumor is the new Xbox will be announced in April but I wish they'd just do it now and get it over with. HAHA

I read somewhere that this game will come to current consoles AND next-gen. So perhaps once they are released, this game will be released again as one of the launch titles?
