Due out on Dec. 31, Gamestop's Reserve bonus for Darksiders is a Horseman T-shirt and an in-game scythe called The Harvester.
You play as a character named War, voiced by Liam O'Brian (voice of Gaara of Naruto, Nightcrawler of Wolverine and the X-men) who has a watcher named, well... The Watcher, voiced by Mark Hamill (voice of Joker in TheBatman animated series). The Watcher makes sure War doesn't get into trouble - if he does, The Watcher can kill him. War has been framed as the one who caused the Apocalypse and is out to prove his innocence, or die trying...
Co-op? Sadly, no. The things I really look into a game is if there is either replay value, co-op campaign and/or multiplayer features. But I do fancy offline gaming too, at times. There was supposed to be co-op, since there are 4 horsemen, but they scrapped it. So if you liked Prototype, Prince of Persia and/or God of War and want an action/adventure single player game, you just might like it. From what I've seen in the videos and screenshots, I have to say it's looking pretty good and the storyline sounds intriguing. I can't complain about the character designs and weapons, for they are top-notch and look soo dang shmexy in my opinion. Not to mention the aforementioned credited voice actors that I know of so far, for the game. I just hope they take their time with it and not overdo things. If I DO manage to save enough, I'm getting it. It just may be one of the few single player games I will play.
I know not many people have heard of this game yet, so I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
