I've been addicted to Dunnys since I was introduced to them a few weeks ago at Blue C Sushi. Now, I can't wait to get my blind box when I finish my Nigiri.

I seem to be one of the few who realized this game actually came out - amongst my gaming friends, anyway. I have to admit, though, I was hesitant about picking it up because I, well, thought the latest movie in the saga was just another testement to Lucas having gone bat**** crazy. However, I have always enjoyed the lego games so I decided to put my bias aside and pick it up.

The first thing that caught my attention was that this installment actually starts with missions from the first three movies. Perhaps someone at Traveller's Tales realized that a game based purely on the latest episode may be laughed off the shelves. Whatever the reason, I'm glad the decision was made. Granted, there were similarities between some missions from the original game and this one but it's been long enough that it was fuzzy in my head.

Another difference is that the main mission points are divided into "hubs". This way, you can bounce back and forth between stories if you get frustrated or bored in one section. There are six main hubs in all - Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 1, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 2 and yup, you guessed it... Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 3.

In each of the hubs, you have the main story line to follow as well as the smaller side missions. These range from vehicle/animal races to finding colored bricks. And if you've ever played the Lego games before,  you know that colored bricks = greatness.

There are no real deviations to the other Lego games except for one. And it's a biggie: There's a level builder!

I went through a couple of the tutorials. I shaped terrain, stuck in some trees, plonked down some bolts and tested it all out racing around in a car. It was fun for about 5 minutes. I don't know if I have the patience to sit there and build an entire level, though. I can sit for 5 hours and apply vinyls to a car in Forza but I can't sit and build a level in Legoland. Go figure.

Also, a big let down with the game was the lack of online co-op, yet again. Although, Lucas Arts did publish this little nugget on their Twitter feed, "I've noticed everyone wants online co-op with LEGO Indy 2. Give it a few weeks - we're working on a patch for 360 and PS3 as I type this!" Let's hope it's not too long coming!

If you're buying this as a family game, you will need to play it as a family. Besides the fun, building factor, some of the missions can get frustrating and are definitely only intended for "grown ups".

All in all, it's a fairly decent game with some funny moments and well thought out levels.

I really enjoyed this game, and was sad when it ended. It's a bit buggy in some spots (lots of reported freezing etc) but I had a blast playing it. I had to fight with my 9yr old for playing time

I tried the demo, and it's something I will definitely pick up next year. I have passed the first one and looking forward to having fun with this one.
