Album: Motion Picture Soundtrack Pirate Radio
Release Date: November 10th, 2009

I often find the sound of the 60's to have an inspirational impact on me. The music from that time period had soul, heart, and meaning. Leaving out my strange crush to Philip Seymour Hoffman, this is one of the reason I am excited about Richard Curtis' new film, Pirate Radio. A period comedy about an illegal radio station in the North Sea in the 1960's, Pirate Radio's Soundtrack is a 2-disk track packed music celebration. From The Who to Jimi Hendrix, the soundtrack is surely to rock your socks off. Just looking over the tracklisting makes my heart flutter! I often have said I was born too late and this defiantly confirms it. Because the film is based around the illigal radio broadcast, most (if not all) of the music found on this soundtrack is surely to be what you would have heard in the 60's.
