I have been cautiously anticipating the US version of Skins since it was announced last year and finally, MTV aired the premiere episode.

First a little back story: Skins follows the lives of a group of teenagers during the last two years of high school. Each episode centers around a single character with the first and last episode dealing with the group. These teens face everything from drug addiction, to anorexia, to gay issues, to teacher/student relationships, to mental illness, to rape and so on. You name it, these kids go through it.

The main list of characters is:

Does Robert Downey Jr. bring back the bad? Does Scarlett Johansson show off the goods? Does Mickey Rourke whip it good?

All of these questions will be answered if you go check out Iron Man 2 that hits theaters in the US today.

I caught the show at midnight and was squeeing with excitement along with all of the other 12-16 year olds in attendance. Yes, my group was made up of the only old farts in the entire place. However, it was amusing to hear a bunch of pubescent boys squeal with excitement (yes, I said squeal) as they caught their first glimpse of a half-naked woman courtesy of Scarlett

Do you believe in aliens? Have you ever seen anything shoot across the night sky? Well I do believe in aliens, which is why I have the perfect movie for you!

30 years ago Steven Spielberg released his major motion picture Close Encounters of the Third Kind aka CE3K.  And for the first time its being released on Blueray.  The original editions which were first released in 1977 and then was re-released in 1980, now comes with 2 discs, including all 3 different versions of the movie, 9 deleted scenes plus tons of special features.

The movie follows Roy Neary (Dreyfuss) as he drives

You kill a Movie by talking about it.

This is the opening line of "Nine", and yet I'm going to attempt to write about the film without doing this exact thing. This movie was lost in between the rush of holiday spending and the overwhelming success of Avatar and Sherlock Holmes; it took going home to visit my mother in early January to find time to watch the film. "Nine" is a film rendition of a stage musical, and from start to finish, it lives up to its lavish counterpart as a stage production - much more "Moulin Rouge", and "CHICAGO" (from the same Director) rather than "High School

The trailer of Paramount and Marvel's highly anticipated sequel, Iron Man 2, has just released! The trailer looks amazing and it features some of our favorite stars from Iron Man such as  Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and Samuel L. Jackson. New to the cast are Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, and Mickey Rourke. To say I'm extremely excited for this film, is an understatement. The trailer is available exclusively at Apple Trailers and can be viewed here.

Kitty:

I will preface the following by stating up front: I am not a Twi-Hard by any stretch of the imagination, so if you'd prefer to read a review from someone who is a little closer to that definition, skip my review, and read Miss Tique's below. I also have not yet read the books, although I do intend to do so at some point, you know, when I find some time...

With that Disclaimer, we get to the good stuff!

My first experience with Twilight came about two weeks prior to the New Moon's premier, when I finally sat down with two friends (one who had seen it and one who had not) to watch the

"Go enjoy your Blair Witch movie", were the last words a friend said to me before entering the movie theater. The movie was, of course, Paranormal Activity. With documentary like low-budget filming, Paranormal Activity can be easily compared to the 1999 film, The Blair Witch Project.  This style of filming seems to be quite effective for making movies even more suspenseful and - by extension - scarier. The loud screams that resonated throughout the theater while the movie played can attest to this.

Paranormal Activity takes place in San Diego, California, where a couple of twenty-somethings

"Whip It" is the self-discovery story of a girl named Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page), growing up in a small-town in Texas. She works at the local Oink Joint with her best friend Pash (Alia Shawkat), and suffers from an over-powering mother (Marcia Gay Harden) who attempts to shove the lifestyle of beauty pageantry down her throat. During a day trip with her mother to Austin, Bliss picks up a flyer for a Roller Derby team trial and develops a scheme to get back to Austin and try out. She successfully lands a place on the team and becomes known as Babe Ruthless; her alter-ego. Being a member of

I'm a big fan of musicals of any sort, so when I saw the free pilot episode of Glee in iTunes last spring, I downloaded it right away without knowing what it was about.  Although there haven't been a lot of successful musicals on television - Cop Rock, anyone? - I hold out hope that one day a show will come along that will fill the void left when Rags to Riches went off the air in 1988.  Hey, a ChiX can dream, right?

Glee is a musical "dramady" that focuses on a struggling high school choir, or Glee Club.  The Glee Club is an eclectic group of high school misfits, and Matthew Morrison stars

I can hardly believe we're already on to season 4 of "Dexter" but on Sunday night, I eagerly awaited Mr. Morgan's arrival on my television. How could they possibly keep me entertained for another season?

For those who are completely unfamiliar with the series, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is a member of the Miami Police Department. He is a blood spatter expert with a side hobby - he hunts down and kills those whom he believes have committed atrocities so heinous that they deserve to be put down. No, this is not a spoiler, it's the main premise for the entire show. Another twist is that he
